I saw Ali Landry wearing this dress in a magazine spread and in the In-Style wedding televison show in 2006 and fell in love. The dress was WAY out of my budget but needless to say I had to have it. The retail price was $7500 but I got it at a trunk show for about $6500 so the opening bid is really a small fraction of the price. The reciept will be included with the purchase. The dress is really a work of art, it is made of chiffon and tulle, the bodice has all this beautiful ruching and the skirt is made up of hundreds of layers of cut edge tulle and chiffon.  The dress is classic but chic and modern at the same time.  It's a wedding dress and Oscar worthy gown in one. This dress was one of the highlights of my wedding and I still can't believe I got to wear such an amazing dress.   Here are some details about the dress. It is a size 4 and the color is "silk white" light ivory. There were some slight alterations made to the dress, the measurements are as follows: bust: 34-35", waist: 26" and hip: 36". The dress can be taken in or if need be taken out a little. The length was also altered to fit someone 5' 10" with shoes. The dress has a little train and can be bustled.  The bustle is a double layer french bustle.  The dress is in perfect condition aside from a little dirt along the very bottom hem of the skirt which cannot really be seen when worn.   I had to relist this item due to using a picture from Monique Lhuillier's website. I included a picture from a runway show and I think that's ok since there are 10 or more ML listing with runway pictures.    If you have any question please feel free to contact me.  Congratulations on your engagement and good luck!
