Orig. $2685' Description This is a brand new STUNNING Cymbeline wedding dress purchased from Madeleine's Daughter in Portsmouth. It was sent in the wrong color (Ivory) so I wasn't able to wear it. It has had some minor and beneficial alterations. We had a waist-stay added that can easily be removed and it has a bustle added as well. The bodice is made of shantung silk and the knife pleat ruffles are made of organza silk. The color is a very soft Ivory- not yellowy but more a cream color. It is a very flattering cut and very comfortable to wear! It is a two piece dress - there is a slip underneath that adds the front layer of ruffles. There is a ribbon element that criss-crosses around the dress and forms a bow on the side. It is (custom) handmade in Paris. The size is a European 40 - but the US equivalent of a 6. I did end up getting the dress in white and wore it down the aisle - people were talking for days after about how amazing the dress was! I felt truly beautiful wearing it. It is a very unusual dress in its design - truly a show stopper! I want some lucky woman to wear this one and feel as special as I did!We purchased the dress for $2685.00.
